Yellow Magic, Lobino Rico, Don Iovino Splash It

A bunch of identical poppers with the exact same body shape and exact same foil pattern.  However there seems to be some difference amongst these lures.

The Lobino Rico and Rio Rico are the most expensive and originates from Japan.  It also has the highest rattle pitch and feels like it has more smaller steel balls inside the lure.  The smaller 1/4 oz Rico also feels heavier with a tail down position on the water surface.  A low profile with the line tie is above the surface of the water.  The larger 1/2 oz or 7/16 oz. Rio Rico sits pratically level.  A slightly low profile with the line tie clearly above the surface of the water.

The Yellow Magic and Yellow Magic Magnum are medium priced and package says something like designed in Japan, assembled in China.  It has a slightly lower rattel pitch and feels like there's one or two steel balls inside.  The smaller 1/4 oz lure sits level on the water.  A low profile with the lien tie below the surface of the water.  The larger 1/2 lure sits with a slight tail angle down and line tie is clearly below surface of the water.

The Don Iovino Splash It and Splash It 2 are the lowest priced and package with no country of origin.  It has a lowest rattle pitch of the three and feels like there's one or two steel balls inside.  It's neutral water surface profile matches the Yellow Magic.

I don't like the red tubes placed on the hooks of the Yellow Magic and Don Iovino Splash It lures.  It's a hassle to remove those things eventhough they're meant to protect the lure from being scratched by the sharp hook points.
Slip bobber fishing and ice lounger.
