Yo guys and gals,

Took the 10 year old grand daughter out last week. We caught nothing but gobbies all day long. I coached her on PMA (positive mental attitude) It took till dark but we did persevere and caught one 22 inch pickerel, 2 gills and she brought in the biggest fish of the day , a 4 # small mouth. All's well that ends well eh? Sure glad, grand pa's PMA advice was correct.

Nice pics deadeyez.

I got out this morning for a bit. I casted sticks early and only managed a couple of rock bass and dumped an eye at the net. After that I trolled for an hour and picked up 1 keeper eye and dropped another.

I was out too. Toughest bite in a while for me. Hit 3 new spots with sticks. They looked right, but nothing but one perch. Saw some marks in 30' on the way in. Stopped and threw a jig and hooked 3 but dumped them all on the way up.

Oh well. Nice relaxing morning anyway

The surface temp was around 75.

It was a nice morning and there were not a lot of boats out.
