Thanks fishhooksul ! Little off topic but I guess the season is winding down and our minds are wandering.
With the good weather I actually got down to the black river and cast some stick baits for browns and steel head. As far as I am concerned the ice can hold off as long as it wants !

took a ride around the south west shore. can't believe the water levels !!! lots of sand bars, and rock piles are exposed. if your taking a boat out BE SAFE !!! the lake is down over three feet.   Sully...

Thanks scout , we now have about 5" and still snowing here in pul , going to be a sloppy mess come next week

After Decemeber 1st all bets are off. I think they always open the gates then but this year we have had very little rain so it's dropping faster.

Filet was just telling me today, that Release and Rueben are the 2 best shore casters on that lake. :w00t: who are we to argue :D
