The reg. I quoted from DEC does not mention bridges as the boundary, where are you guys seeing this?

At one point of the spawn there were walleye all the way up to dam. It happens every year during the spawn. Is there walleye there now? No...I was in Taberg last Saturday and looked in the creek there and mcconnelsville. The spawn happened and the fish are back to the lake. I'm not saying there aren't walleye in those creeks.. I physically didn't see any walleye.

As far as boundaries and ECO'S, those officers could be anywhere....not to mention concerned sportsman...not worth trying to catch and keep any out of season species.

Fishbone if you know of guys taking walleye before season or restricted areas call dec...I see you know the area 👏👏
I don't see anyone contesting what you may know...as far as I know people got to have big ba!!s to be keeping walleye out of the canal right now...or  maybe just stupid...most guys here your ranting to would do anything to stop them ignorant people it's what most of us look forward to(walleye season)...a walleye population is key to what we love around oneida ...and most guys on here also are most definitely fishing for panfish or bullhead...waiting our turn to smack a couple walleye  ;)

True words Rock! But, myself and others know for a fact that walleye are kept outta season in that canal...same scumbags every year. Supposedly, they are "cat fishing". But, sturgeon have been targeted down there as well in the past. The DEC are well aware of what's going on down there. It's just a matter of time before they get caught. Personally, it makes me sick and, I have the DEC Tipp line in my phone.
I hope all of you guys have a safe and fun open water season!😎
