Those SPLAKE also look like brookies.
Whats the storie on them,Are they land locked or Ocean run?

Well, colorblind I might be but I can tell the difference. Artic Char have a much deeper fork on the tail, and as Bigred pointed out, Brookies have vermiculations on the back and dorsal fin. Splake, actually, look a lot more like arctic char than brooks do. Just me.

And it seems to me (from looking at pics) that the spots on arctic char are usually bigger than those on brookies. But that could be fish size talking.

My largest is 3.25 lbs-I never measured the length. This one was 2.75lbs I caught last spring.
