fished 8 hours Sunday mostly 25'-40' deep in several areas and didn't do squat jigging. 2 guys maybe 15 fish with only 3 keepers and 2 of those just 15". I'm betting we should have gone much shallower but my partner is not a shallow water lover at all.

We fished this past Saturday, that 40' water was loaded with suspended fish. We caught 5 (3 keepers) from 7-10 AM before the wind got the best of us. 2 on a 4 color leadcore with a harness, 2 on a 3 color leadcore with a small spoon tipped with a piece of crawler, and 1 on a rigger pulling a stickbait (rigger pop) lol. Wish the wind wasn't so bad or we would have kept hitting them as they turned on and off.

Nice reports guys. The jigging bite has slowed for me lately. It is amazing how many small fish there are out there. The future is bright!

Launched snags boat for him yesterday afternoon , and headed out for the first time on the lake this year
Jig bite was pretty good for eyes  and I even jigged a few perch , the weather was super nice , water temp ranged from 69.9 to  70.4 spots we fished

Got out with the snag yesterday afternoon for some jigging
And it was Pretty lumpy , I’m now considering holding the king of the short eyes title  lol
Every spot we tried was the same but I must say these fish look very healthy
Also seen a first , snag jigged up a small gar
But he managed to put 3 nice keeper eyes  in the box ,I  lost a good 1 at the boat

Ironically yesterday my oldest kid was asking me if there were gar in Oneida.

Once those weeds get going it should be game on Fred.

I’ve been taking the kids trolling lately. Not as fun as jigging but it is producing consistently.
