Anyone use Float Boats??
« on: Mar 09, 2004, 06:58 AM »
I've been seriously looking at Pontoon Float boats for a couple of years now.

Anyone have any infromation or experiance with them?

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

I use the Caddis Navigator II pontoon style float tube and like it a lot.  It gets me into most ponds that I like to flyfish.  I am even considering to use it for duck hunting on smaller ponds.

I met a guy that has a Water Skeeter and REALLY liked it when I saw all of its features etc.  Price is high, but worth it if you want something similar to a canoe that is designed just for one person.

This particular one would allow you to use oars, flippers on your feet, or an electric trolling motor.  It has a built-in live well, rod holders, anchors, and all kinds of places to store gear etc.
