my brother caught this 39 inch -21lb steelhead  out of a western newyork-lake ontario trib on 4lb test line


i caught this 22lb 37 inch steely 2 years ago out of a lake erie trib near buffalo-fish had an unusualy large girth.

Very nice fish those are dandys!

The largest steelie to date for me is a 18 lb'er I think, would have to look at the pics to be 100%.

Some very nice fish.  Unfortunately, all of them would easily eat my biggest fish.  LOL.  I guess I'll have to get out on the water more often.
Fishing, hunting, camping.....who says life has to be hard?

I'm surprised that you didn't have to take 2 pictures just to get all of that fish in!  ;) My congratulations to your brother. He has to be one hell of a fisherman to land a fish that size on 4 lb test. Especially a steelie!

been fishing the lake erie tribs for 20 years and the biggest one iv'e ever caught weighed about 17 lbs there

if u dont mind me askin what lake ontario trib did u catch those fish out of i fish there every october and my brother caught a large steelhead outta the Salmon river but we fish orwell creek and some others of the surrounding tribs just wonderin where u caught it
