most streams  from the carskills to the onondaga county streams i fish  are running high bur  water is brown i had time and went looking   beaver kill del. willow  and cortland all looked like chocoalate milk  so did the  susquehanna on 17 i stoped at one of my favorite streams  in onondaga and it was brown  ....the day wasn't a loss i had fun looking and  did some scouting for bow season ,seen alot of young deer feeding during the day ... my totals today were zero fish  and 3 coffees  2 sausage and egg mc muffins .....think i'll go beat up some more salmon  :D

I woke up early  then fe;; asleep and slept late ................duh   now I'm deciding should I go hit the gills or chase a salmon ......hmmmmm

You'd better go for the salmon. They're only around for a short time. gills will always be there.  :rotflol:

Chase the gills Trapp , wait a while and the crowds will thin out , and chase big browns and steelhead , there will still be sharks around

I was going to go today.
Even built a flyrod over the winter to use.
(Bob didn't like it, but I didn't build it for him.   ;D )

Anyway, just way too much work to do before we head to Florida next Wednesday with the motorhome.
Also, the weather really sux.
I'm done with cold weather fishing.

Maybe in 3 weeks when I get back home and if the weather ever gets better I'll take off a day and go out and walk a few streams.

Good luck to the guys who went out today.

cold  windy day  even  snowed a  few times pretty bad but the  trout  were there and  i had a great time ...ayy on a  bead head  pheasant tail  and  a bead head  hares  ear .......i  told fred i know  some  trout that are  dieing to meet him  :rotflol:

to whom it may concern  ,it is my  opinion Dacker needs  at least a  24 hour  period  to relax  and trout  fish for health reasons
