dry bog cranberry harvester

thought i would post some pics of this monstosity. its a 1 off machine made in canada to harvest cranberries on the oswego county cranberry farm in williamstown ny.  it has a lot of problems and sort of doesnt work right, bit its an interesting machine to look at. it was clogging up with the runners from the plant, so we cracked the front door a bit to let more air flow into the separator unit. it got pour harvest speed from.1 mph to . 4 mph.

yeah its about 5 miles south of altmar. near kasog lake. a canadian outfit bought it when the origianal owners went bankrupt. my uncle is the manager, and ive ben working there during busy periods. 12 or 14 hours a day all week for the past few weeks. but i did take yesterday off to fish, and i had class at the union hall today. back on the farm sunday. ive got the rifle in the truck and im hoping to get a shot at this monster 8 point the whole town is chasing. but knowing these dudes up around that area, it will probably be shot at night

As far as the problems go I think the duferlater valve is jamming the gosinta and causing the whatiss to back up

Hey Billy ,were the former owners ,the co-op of farmers that convinced the county that their taxpayer  money would be well spent on that project ? Chairman of the legislaters,etc.   And your right they do more trophy buck hunting at night ,about the time bow season opens in those parts !
