how much water are you guys fishing in, and what depth usually?  what type of lure are you trolling?

Right now 17 lbs. 12 oz is the leader. A guy caught a 20 lber last week but he wasn't entered in the derby.

That 11 lb 12 oz brown isn't even in the top 20 now.

We are fishing in  30-70 feet of water for the browns. Deeper for the salmon. The browns are hitting spoons down 20 to 50 on the downriggers. They also are hitting stickbaits (smithwicks, rapalas, etc.) fished off of planer boards.
