« on: Mar 31, 2011, 10:59 AM »
I've been using the cortland fly line cleaner patches to clean my fly lind. Just wondered if there was something better to use? Any suggestions

Yes,
A mild solution of Dawn dish washing detergent and warm water. Finish with a coating of line conditioner. I use Son Of A Gun Protectant  on a soft cloth.
I peel my fly line off into the sink full of water with dawn and pull it through a wad of paper towels. When it's clean and dry, I apply the protectant.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
