I'm officially jelous I wasted the day mowing lawn and cleaning up. Had to pull gills out of freezer for dinner.

I was going walleye fishing after I left the trout stream but I decided to be a good guy and spent the day doing chores. Got the outside prettied up and my boat ready for this morning. I'll be on the water in an hour or so.

Had a nod a campfire with my Bride last evening. Bourbon and toasted marshmallows go good together

Nice looking trout RG! I took the wife out today in the boat. The new impeller fixed all my problems. It must have been slightly overheating causing it to go into SLOW mode. New impeller, and some new seals, and gear lube. Runs like a top. Thanks!

I've been getting up between 3-4 for 20 years. I went for a 45 minute jog at 4 this morning. Great way to start your day.

 RG, have you been catching any of those trout with the fly rod? Been pretty slow for me. Slow as in not a bite in 3 trips out so far. Been fishing the West Canada creek, don't think the spot i go to has been stocked yet.

Small rooster tail spinners have been the ticket for me. Particularly brown/ white body with a gold spinner. I tried the fly rod and everything in the vest to no avail. Even tried drifting some baby night crawlers. Spinner is what they wanted.

But then again, I stink at fly fishing for trout.

my brother caught a 16 inch yellow perch sunday and released it he had not even thought about mounting it untill i asked him why he did not oh well to late now
