Hit the crappies again yesterday.  Wind made it difficult but ended up with a dozen keepers.  Lots of undersized fish, too.

I'd show you a picture of the Crappie sandwich I just ate......but it seems to have disappeared

Been hitting them pretty good on those little jigs and the fly rod.

Rat...Got em on my go to rig - #8 Caty football jig tipped with a Gulp 1" minnow below a Rocket bobber.  Tried other jig/plastic combo's but  did the best on the Gulp.

Catching lots of rock bass on Lake George right now. Just about any minnow plug or shallow running crank is a blast.

I'm headed up to the Kawartha Lakes area in southern Ontario for a couple days this spring for some hot crappie and bluegill action.  The guy I'm fishing with says I will be impressed.  Here's hoping he's right and I that will have a good report and photos for you maniacs!!

pannies,just love to fish for them.that is about all i fish for now,still go trout fishing
a few times a year.i have a few small farm ponds that are open now

As I grew up near oneida lake my grandfather had me on the water alot
mainly fishing for walleye...I was always into fast pace fishing and would jump out of the truck to fish the dock before he could get the
boat in the water sometimes I could catch 5-6 nice sunnies and gills
when I got my drivers license I would travel all over new york and fish .bluegill and crappie in mind I found some great fishing
I mainly would fish thru the ice for them then know where to head in the spring...my heart belongs to oneida and walleye fishing
but think this season I'll be back on panfish ...walleye are a fun target but outsmarting 3 fish seems to be getting old
