went fishing today for about 2hrs. with wife--NO PHOTOS--same rig as before,wife caught about 18
i caught about 12 most were seeds with some gills and a little deeper now all fish were C/R
all from shore

Took grandson and greatnephew out to cayga drifting deep water for sunnies and gills....caught nice keeper sunnies, gills and bunch of decent perch. All pics are on his camera but they had a great time...3 1/2# fillets.

take a kid hunting and fishing, it's a lot better than leaving them on the streets!!

Haven't posted in a while but went out last week once with nephew...caught good mess including several crappie, gills, perch...33 total...went again today alone and a lot slower but managed good mess of perch, crappie, gills, rock bass and 14" lmb......coulda been worse. ps: forgot to say i was at port bay

Yank...no only the north launch.....and still 5mph limit on the bay so takes a while to get to the middle of bay where i've bren fishing lately.

Pounded crappies in local lake yesterday kept one limit of 1 inchers all on while maribou jigs

Your lucky Trapper. I couldn't get the gills to bite my flies. The lake I went to had so many bugs on top of the water that the fish didn't want any of mine.  >:( >:(

Been having a hard time getting gills to bite lately too with jigs..last couple times have had to resort to jig & worms catching some decent ones...caught some nice ones on fly rod on couple ponds though.

We were getting decent gills with a pimple and pinch of crawler at night with green light also last couple of hours with small crappie killer jigs
