Thats awesome - if you don't mind, how long has the ice been off the water you fish ??  Kind of new to spring crappie fishing here - do you start catching them right after the ice goes off in the shallows or are you out in a boat ?

Yea, essentially you would need to get a bite almost instantly every time down to account for the misses, swallowed hooks, breakoffs, reties, etc.
That's one hell of a spot. Maybe more than one guy? It ain't braggin if its the truth-Dizzy Dean.

OneBucket honestly the bite was so outta this world all night until daylight that i could have easily stayed casting the whole 8 hours n caught another hundred easy.. that was taking into account a few pops and a sub during my down time.i was on shore yesterday.. last few outings were on the boat casting in shallow bays and in the weeds with tube jigs. Nothing fancy, just gotta dance those jigs! Ice out is a great tume to start searching

I picked up a few pointers( along with a broken off bobber and jig ) from Swamp Thing a few days ago and put them to work.  i got lucky and was in the right place at the right time.

True, but putting the time in and knowing the different bodies of water helps you get catches like that. Nice job fellas. Keep it up
