Hey Trapp.. we don't spend much time on mahogany ridge :whistling: we did manage to find a few fish today while we were out enjoying the day though.. imagine that 😉

Tried the bullhead pond this afternoon without a bite. Moved on to perch waters and got a few. The crowd was there and typical. Wasn't there 10 minutes and some schmuck cast over my line. Gave him the glare and he moved.

I hate fishing with crowds of perch warriors.

Got a few and I'll probably go back really early tomorrow morning. I'd like a nice rainy windy day. Keeps the touristos at bay.

eat  some  grandma  browns  baked  beans  with  pickled  eggs  pickled kielbasa and  a beer or two ....they will stay away

Throw in some pickled leeks and you'll have a 2 mile radius cleared out

Got 27 this morning early. Not huge, but very edible.


Got there at dawn, No competition, rained like heck. Love my rain gear. Bone dry when I got home.

Nice job Steve. Great calico! How do you like your shallow water anchors? I’m seeing them more and more, but I personally don’t know anyone that has them.

That made me chuckle. I’ve had that happen before but my glare must not be that intimidating. I end up leaving. Hate crowds.  I’m glad you were able to get a bunch today.
