Nice mess of fish Raquettedacker. I finally got out last Thursday and got a 22 fish mixed bag of pannies. Pumpkinseeds, gills, crappies, and rock bass.  Got a quart bag of fillets.

on cayuga union springs north 7 days ago water was 63 topside.    very few weeds.    very few fish in shallow except bass pairs

will try sunday if weather good

A couple suggestions for Cayuga.  It seems that 10:30 feeding time stops and the best days are overcast, light rain.  Bluebird days are usually killers for perch in Cayuga this time of year. Also, the shallows mostly hold the smaller fish.  Try anywhere from 20-35’.

Caught and released this little beauty a week or so ago.


Didn’t take a pic of them, but I also caught and kept close to two dozen white perch, all 14-16”.
