Went out of Godfrey yesterday from 8 until 1:30. Did not mark as many fish deep compared to last time out and fishing was a bit slow. We caught 10 and kept 3. Also dropped a couple near the boat. Too many floating weeds really hurt the lead core troll.

Made it out solo for a couple hours this afternoon. Fished out of Godfrey. Northeast wind had things moved around a little bit. It was also a little lumpy out there today, so I only fished one rod. Took a minute to get dialed in, but made quick work of it after a lure change. Sometimes ya gotta spoon feed em!

The past couple trips to Oneida havenít been as productive. Weíre still picking up fish but had to work harder for them. Last two trips were catch and release, but we probably had 3-4 keepers each time. East wind was still blowing this morning. Been doing better with spoons than cranks.
