This is my annual reminder that, starting today, everyone in a canoe or a kayak must wear a life preserver. The EPOs give out tickets for violations of this law.

Good reminder.  Also an annual reminder that in almost 40 years I have never been checked in Mass!  (I think they are still guarding pools for split shift overtime)

In the many years I have been posting this, two guys have admitted getting a ticket, one for $50 and the other for $100.
