Nice pile of fish......Inidana or Michigan waters??  Were they suspended or on the bottom?

I have been out several times too on a N. Indiana lake.  Got 33, 23, 13, 43 and 33 gills in those trips fishing 12 -18 foot down over 23 FOW.
Glad to see you are into them also.  These were all suspended 6 to 9 ft. off bottom.  Oh, it is a S. Michigan lake.

I got a chance to take my grandson fishing this morning.  You can tell by the smile on his face, it sure did make his day.

Took my daughter and grandkids out fishing yesterday.  Caught 56 gills total. Grandson Ben with a nice gill.

Grandaughter Jamie with a nice gill.

Ben hooked this leather back turtle. It was quite a battle.  Estimated to be about 14 inches in diameter.

Daughter and grandkids enjoying the day.

Grandaughter Allie zonked out on the bottom of the boat.

My uncle with a nice crappie.

Me with a nice bluegill

This was the hot lure for the day.  Couldn't catch any nice gills on crickets, so switched to this jig and caught most of the crappie and a lot of bluegill on this jig.

Starting to get a few in the cooler.

This was my share of todays catch.  Caught 30 total.

Went to a different lake today and sat in the rain.  I got 22 gills and 1 perch.

I have a cooler like that. Only use is to go fishing and keep my fish and drinks cold. (Wife really does not like the idea of that so when she is along we take a second cooler.) It may look dirty but it does get scrubbed out after most uses. (I sure do hate having to go back to school so early. Rather be fishing and hunting.  >:( )

FYI, when your coolers start to stink like fish you wipe them with vanilla extract and the odor gone. JUST MY 2 CENTS FOR YOU THAT DONT KNOW THIS.

That cooler belongs to the guy I fish with.  I will have to tell him to get that thing cleaned up.  But at the same time I think it attracts fish.

I just use dishsoap with a sponge and garden hose.
But if you fill it up with fish regularly - who cares
