1 bite, 13 inch perch. Only 1 fish in 3 1/2 hours. TERRIBLE. Looks like they are done for at least next week cause of the winds. By then the chinooks will be moving in and the perch are gone. I did mark quite a few fish in the 25 foot range but they wouldn't bite. WINDY

hey, abishop did you notice the water temp. '' 51.6'', friday it was 71.5, 20 degree drop in less than two days. i only caught 4 small ones by the blue tower. friday we were done by 9:30.

Surface temp was 66 degrees. Is that tower still Indiana waters or is it Michigan? We were talking about that today.

the blue tower is the long beach water tower. couple miles east of the condos. yes, still in indiana waters. visable from the lake.

chumming for perch on the big lake sounds like a waste of time to me. once you find the fish, it's game on most of the time. I don't think you'd be able to attract them from very far away. Much easier to just drive around til you mark them

Had 2 work today but, I did see a bunch of boat just east of the doughnut. They were there for most of the day and didn't move. They must of located a nice pod of perch. Was anyone from here out there?
