 What about when he got  his first sight of it as he worked it in!!??  Must have been like the worst case ever of "Buck Fever" ten times over! I know I'd have been shaking like a leaf!
And as for my wife, she was literally near hyperventilation when she landed an 18 inch perch at Lake Simcoe- she would have required Mercy Flight!!

looks short for it wieght doesnt it? man that is my dream fish right there. is it bad taste to get a fiberglass mount of someone elses fish  :P

I actually thought it would have weighed more than 44lbs. I've caught 40-50lb salmon and it sure looks bigger than any 50lber I've held.

Awsome awsome fish, but its gonna be rough for him after this one, those 6-10 pounds just wont look so big anymore.   Its a fish of 10 lifetimes for sure.     Absolutly amazing.
