1st tick of the year!!

after a weekend of finding rocks for a warefall in my yard ,i found a tick on my sock when i got home...that means its time to watch the kiddies and the kitties and anything else that frequents the outdoors...

The first weekend of April I was out with my dog and she got 5 on her. Remember when we didnt have ticks! It was only like 6 years ago here, now we are infested with them.

Yeah they are multiplying big time...look at all the ticks on the deer in the fall, crazy!

They make me sick!  I hate those things.
Down in southern Maine in the Wells area, they are everywhere.  I mean by the thousands!  Turkey hunting there is scary.  I put the Frontline on my dog and cat and it seems to work quite well.  Spray the yard with some highly toxic poisons, etc.  If the ticks don't get us, the tick killer will . . . at least those little beasts don't live on the lakes
