Went after pike yesterday...missed one good one.  Landed a tiger and 1 largemouth that ate a large topwater bait. Nice change from trout fishing.

Nice work! Is that the same flowing water you are trying to find the trout in, or is that a lake/pond? It would be neat if they were all swimming in the same water.

Nice job of mixing things up. I tend to focus on trout but my ice fishing buddies love bass and the toothy critters and that keeps fishing from getting stale.

Love those distinct markings on the tigers! Congrats! We used to have them here in Indiana but the INDNR said returns were not as good as regular strain musky so they discontinued them.

Very easy to paint as a taxidermist as the dried skin retained the markings and all it took was some enhancement with silver and other colors.

Thanks everyone.  Id prefer pure strain too, at least they can reproduce.  These tigers were stocked recently and are growing fast in a lake that supports a ton of large pike.  Should get real interesting in a couple of years.

Our INDNR says even the pure strains don't reproduce here.  I find it hard to believe but that is what they say.
