Keeping it going

Hit the Q this morning and it was my daughters turn to chase lakers. We hit the water around 8am. Temps were a balmy 28deg when we got there. The forecast called for 3-5mph winds, but it was easily over 10 with gusts over 15. We got to our spot and i handed her the rod. Before i could get my line in the water she allready had a fish on. An old Allan trick if I ever saw one lol. The wind died down and the fish kept coming. In the end she landed 10 fish. She was a little trooper braving those temps and winds. I thought for sure she was going to want to go home. But as the fish kept biting, the cold and wind was barely noticed. All fish were fat, healthy, and released to be caught another day.

Tomorrow Allan and I get out after them again!
