« on: Jun 21, 2010, 09:21 PM »
ok so we had 13 people on board and it was a perfect weather day.found some fish early not alot but fish.we had  a mix of cod haddock and pollock and one wolf fish, that went back in the drink.my wife and mother n law went and did good .they didnt get sick. my wife fished for about 30 min then took a 6 hr $124 dollar nap up top.lol

my mother n law deb was a trooper fished by my side the whole day and managed 2 keepers

this was the one when i was showing her how to get a fish. then we hit another spot and it was drop and reel as fast as you could go.all haddock. we ended up with 89 and thats good considering there were 4 new timers and one slept.i ended up with 17 and also one the pool with a small cod,but my buddy flaggs had a good pollock that was close so we agreed to just split it.well he decided he wanted to way them and he knows who the real winner was lol.love ya buddy

next trip is coming look for post.enjoy

As it turns out, I guess I could have made this trip. The two nite trip that I was committed to didn't sail. The boat blew an injector line on the starboard motor coming into Gloucester Harbor about an hour before we all got there. The Capt. was frantically trying to locate a part, but the closest one was in Pennsylvania. The trip was called off and rescheduled. :'(  Thirty guys standing on the dock with gear and enough food to feed a small army. I guess sh*t happens...  Oh well...

Glad you all had a good day on the Erica Lee II.
