Hi,

To get to Cooney, head south from Laurel (off I90) towards Red Lodge on US212.  At Boyd (good Cstore with mostly solid local info), turn off the pavement on a gravel road heading West and follow the signs for about 6 miles or so.  The marina is on the North side of the lake.  Most of the huge eyes come from night time trolling here.  The state record eye came from here for quite a while until Ft Peck topped it.  Also, some good trout here.

Some good trout fishing in the river below the dam for the fly fishers as well.

Tight lines.
