When did you catch the Kings Moot?

I want to go up to Peck around the beginning of August with my dad and try and catch some of those bad boys!!!

Probably gonna go on a charter first and then fish the next few days from my boat...  Any pointers would be greatly appreciated...

Good Fishing!

Have you guys ever done it before???? We use huge flashers with a 6" squid on a 26" leader Downriggers all the way any where from 70-110 over 120 feet of water speed varies depending on the time of the run and is very critical. Right off the Silo's is the best. There is a hump out there about 350 yard straight out from the Silo's and we always drag our balls there but it never fails we always pick one or two up doing that Biggest so far on the S.S. Lunger is 27.5 pounds in 96 These last year was looking promissing but it really sucked in the previous years.  They quit coming back in about 2002.  It's never been the same.  We use to catch 4-6 a day.  Now it 4-6 a week.  I blame it on the water levels.

Oh and we have railed some nice lakers  20+ pounds ALL week long so it keeps the fishing interesting

fort peck seems like one of the most diverse fisheries all year round that i've ever heard of within driving distance - we're freaking coming, whether it's this summer or this winter, count on it.
