rod holder on row boats for fly rod!

been thinking of how to do this for a while. sorry, my fly rod is in florida with my brother, so no pic of it in the holder. will this work for you guys? tell me what won't work. thanks. it just needs to be bolted on. the pressure of the line in the water will hold it.
