Ive had a hard time getting out the past month, but everything worked out perfectly this evening. I had an hour to fish, so I figured Id hit the river for trout and salmon. Water temps were approximately 20 degrees colder than the last time I fished it, and the trout were on FFFIRE!!! Had not stop action once I figured out a good pattern. Had so much action I had to break this one up into two parts. Heres part one. Part two coming in a day or two.
If interested, you can see the footage with this link:

Nice video, Josh. Was that today (Wednesday)? I think I just missed you ;D

Yesterday. How’d you do?
-
Gotcha. We were a day off from running into each other. I was there for a little over an hour today. The bite was good as that squall passed through, then cut out. I got brookies first, then was into salmon. No browns or bass.

Interesting. I didn’t see a salmon yesterday!! BKT, BT and SM. Was hoping to get a few salmon!!

That place is interesting. Never know what will show up or when. The browns aren't what they used to be though.

I agree. I used to get them up to 19” frequently. Brook trout seem to be do well/

Great brookie fishing no doubt!

Josh, Nice video and fish. They like your custom spinners.
-
Thanks. They were into the spinners!! Definitely one of my favorites. I tried a Rapala, and a spoon and didn’t get a hit on either.

Nice work man been a while since you put up a clip.

Thanks. I’ve been busy all spring, summer and fall. Backed up on footage from the second half of this video, and from another great evening last night. Headed out with the fly rod this evening.
