Early Fall Landlocks

Enjoyed the start of the fall season by chasing some landlocks with the fly rod. The streamer bite was good early on, & the wind had been very cooperative up until the last few days, made for good "stalking" with the clear, still, water.
Here are some pictures, from smallest to biggest; the last fish (close to 20" i would guess, and she was thick w/ shoulders, great battle) really made my several trips & efforts worth it.

Yep, you’ve certainly had a productive fall on the river! I ended up only going out that one day, but will make up for it later with playing with the fresh stockers I guess.

Great report. All the pictures are very nice but I love how you captured the beauty of your catch, the calm of the water's surface and some fall colors in the backdrop of that last one - excellent picture while handling a fish.
