Hey, I might be offended by that remark.
Except that one summer we were working on a buddies camp - helping him put a new roof on. There was a deer killed right in front of his camp - we were watching the deer cross the highway when it happened. The roadkill was a small doe - still had the spots showing a little bit - but mostly faded. The deer got hit in the front end. Front quarters were real messed up, but the hind quarters, chops and filets were still in great shape. The driver got out, looked at his car, and then got in and left. We called the Game Commission to let them know and then had it for dinner! It was like eating fresh veal. Yummmmm. 8)

What do you mean? I make lots of casts - and each time, my hook comes back nice and clean! Sometimes, guys have a stinky old fish at the end of their line. But not me!!!

Seriously, I have never fished in NY. Driven through many times on the way to Canada. Been to a football game in Buffalo, skiing in the Catskills, camped at Watkins Glen - but to do a bunch of trips to the wineries. Should've brought my rod on that one.... :(
