Title: motorhome/truck/boat
Post by: grumpymoe on Sep 18, 2004, 05:48 PM
last weekend when i was down into ontario picking mushrooms, i happened to see a motorhome pull into Clearwater Bay....i was about to take out the camera and take a pic...but i felt a little intrusive.....a brief description...first class motorhome about 38-40' towing a GM HD crewcab pickup with...........his 16" aluminum boat IN THE PICKUP BOX!!!!!.....i regret not stopping to ask the owner if they minded me taking a pic....what a sight to see this boat with the tongue sticking up over the cab area....it was a hydraulic ramp system designed to lower the boat off/on the truck and likely for the purpose of towing behind a motorhome....due to the angle of the boat loaded.......somehow....the name Hertslinger system comes to mind...if anyone has knowledge of this setup or actual name of the manufacturerer.....please post....grump

I can't remember(CRS) who makes them but I saw the same set-up last November in a reststop in South Carolina.Pretty sweet combo-pack.
