Where do you shop for a new outboard, like the Mercury, and or Johnson, in the 40-60 hp.
-
Try your local boat dealers.
But good luck.
Over the past couple years they have been scarce.
Covid, the lack of raw material BS, container ship garbage, etc.

http:// Mercury Marine is a division of Brunswick Corporation and many of the smaller Mercury Outboards are just rebranded Tohatsu Engines. In addition, the entire line of Nissan outboards are rebranded Tohatsus.

Pretty sure anyone looking for a new boat or motor won't get any deal on one... they'll be plenty of people buying if one is available.
