In-Fisherman is one of the few magazines I read cover-to-cover.
It is very good, and I'm sure all of us could learn from them...

I'd love to spend a day on the lake with either one of those guys.
As long as they don't start spouting bible verses!

PG- It must suck living so far from a decent tackle shop! J/K
We spent so much time and effort convincing you to buy a Stradic.

Don't let us down now.  ;D  I might lose my sponsorship.  ;)

Spring for the shipping and order a combo from Cabela's.
You won't be disappointed.

I've been in several business meetings with Al and he's actually a very nice guy, not like his TV personality.  The thing I like about these guy's is that they don't fish for bass 99.9% of the time.  I hate bass.  Love my new Shimano though!

Glad to hear Al's not as big a dink in person as on TV, Glad to hear you finally bought your reel, and glad to hear someone is able to catch a fish on those darn thumper tail plastics.  Thanks for the tip Slipbob, I'll have to keep trying them,  Its hard for me to get out these days at night when my fishin partner's bedtime is 8:00.  If your up for it sometime I could have you out to Oneida and you could show me how its done.

Ok, so I decided to try a Pflueger and in doing so could afford a St. Croix Triumph rod. I used it last night on some nice big drag screaming smallmouth in current and couldn't be happier. Ultra smooth drag as well as retrieve and the 6 1/2' med. rod was awesome as well. I think I like it alot. Lots of hours to put on it yet but...

I can't argue with results ;D ;)

Nice!  Looks like it had a great maiden voyage.

No slack here, as long as it catches fish.
