Black and white photo ??? When did you make that, 1962?

Looks good though. Yellow and red would be killers.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

This is whats in the vise now, this one,

The Green Goblin Slab Slayer & I have been tying "The Dirty Crab". Brown & black flake with a white or red head.

My version of the Grass Shrimp in the Pink with Orange and also two tone reds.

I also been working on alot of 3\8 oz Purple & Tan with white Onieda Eye bucktails.
Hope you like them, the Slab Slayers have been outstanding from last ice thru today, I have tied a few bakers dozen for a few buddies to work with this spring and the fish cant get enough of them, slabs, Gills, Rockies, Perch, even some bullhead.  Will be tieing up some of my "The American" this week wich has been real good on deep water Bull Gills.  Pictures soon  :flag:
EAT, SLEEP, FISH, REPEAT.. I FISH THEREFORE I AM!!  In search of Hedy Mogin steelhead & Browns from Black River west to Ohio catch and realease!! Always lookin for panfish for the freezer!!  Take a kid fishing, it will make him smile and you proud your passing on a great sport!!!!

Chance is always powerful. Let your hook be always cast in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish.

Uh..........have you been hiding under a rock lately ? ::) ::)
The 2011 Ice Fishing show is ON AGAIN....but.....It's going to be held at the Erie County Fairgrounds this year !
It should be bigger and better than ever beacause it's being held at a venue that's "Sportsman Friendly" (although the location isn't too centrally located)

I apparently did not get the memo. Good news for sure. The Oncenter was expensive, stuffy and didn't "feel" like a sportsman's show.

OK Trapper...you're on. I'll do it Saturday.

Thanks "T"

Anyhooooo!
What's in the vise you ask?

Bob's Beady Eyed Muddler Minnow.
I like my streamers to sink! I bumped into this pattern in my frustration of getting weight on a muddler.
#6 straight eye hook
140 UTC, tan
turkey tail (for the tail)
flat tinsel wrap
Turkey wing slip (for wing)
Barbell bead eye
Deer hair body

Tie in a slip of turkey tail feather

Tie in some tinsel, wrap it forward and tie it off and tie in a bead eye

Tie in another slip of turkey feather for the wing

Start spinning on some deer hair

Keep spinning till your good and dizzy ;D

Begin finding the fly within

Bob's Beady Eyed Muddler Minnow

 ;D
