Cat Tail Problem
« on: Jun 19, 2011, 05:35 PM »
One of my dads friends has a pond that we want to make bigger so we can plant fish in it. Expect there are to many cattails is there any way to get rid of them. I have heard of flooding them and you can't doze them out is there any good methods of getting rid of them? Any info will help
I only fish on days that end in Y

Weed razor, Look it up. Cut them down and keep up on it! It works trust me. Then you can round up them, but be carefull. I try not getting too much on the water.

Round-Up. Use it according to the directions. Safe for the water and fish. It may take two seasons to totally get them, but it works, Manual methods are an exercise in futility.
