No striper for me today. Hard day 4am until 7. Hopefully find a good one tomorrow but I'd be glad finding fish.

That fish sure looks a lot like a hybrid!  Very deep bodied and broken patterning...interesting fish.

Hit the upper Hudson  in Troy today. Went 1 for 4 with a smaller 28". It was nice to get out, but it might be my last trip down this year.

Tight lines.

2 days and twenty four plus hours of river time logged for the derby and had nothing for luck. Day one was just a self confidence killer with no runs and no herring till 3 pm.  Had a little hope Sunday morning with 4 runs right off the rip up north but that was it, nothing for four hours. Congratulations to the 30 pound wrangler! Hopefully next year we can be bigger contenders. Untill then it's back to small and largemouth! Saranac lake here we come
At the end of the day, the water is always gonna be there waiting

Placed 7th in the Castleton tourney with a 36 inch 16 lb fish. One tough weekend thats for sure, hopefully the river will keep clearing up and we will be able to catch a few more before they leave. 39 fish for the year and i would love to hit the 40 fish mark. Good luck to those still out trying

Me three...  Looks like that thing came from Lake Wallenpaupack or something!

Quite a fattie though, for a little guy!
