Great time on the Klutina!!!

Went up to Glennallen, Alaska for a short term missions trip with the church, and managed to get out for a guided salmon trip on the Klutina River. It was an awesome time, had a Great Guide. In a group of four we each managed a king, one of my buddies landed 3. It has been rainy in Alaska this summer so the run has been week, but we managed to land 6.
Casting egg sacks in a pool for kings....
Here was the first king caught...a nice near 50 pound Buck.... :o
Then my other buddy hooked into this one....
Took some time off from casting for kings to fly fish for some Greyling....
After lunch I hooked into one....good size hen...
My wife was the last to get one....thanks to the Great Guide....he stood by her side to let her know when to hook up...

While the guide was fileting I managed to hook into a red salmon with the fly rod, it gave a great fight but was foul hooked so I had to let it go. Again, this was a trip of a life time, if anyone needs a Great guide I know one. We are going to try to get him here in Maine for a Turkey hunt!!
