Just finished the last batch. Picklesaurus sized.

20 jars. Small, medium and large + 2 in the fridge just because I can't really wait.

I did these based on my best recipe from last year.

Brine: heat to dissolve sugar and salt,
Keep warm to fill hot jars with.
6 c. White vinegar
1 c. Cider vinegar
3 c. Water
3/4 c. Canning salt
1/2 c. Sugar

Spices:
Chopped onion
Minced garlic (the more the better)
Crushed red pepper
Dill seed
Celery seed
Yellow mustard seed
Sliced Jalapeņo and Cowhorn peppers.

These come out spicy and dill with a hint of sweetness.

Can't wait to taste them.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

It's not really a problem in the kitchen. Just a bit warm this time of year. I had a fan going so not too bad really. Besides, I'm a clean as you go cook. I need the sinks, hot water etc.

I have to say, they sure look yummy.

Had to nix your picture Boone. Tried to post it back but it was just too large. You need to resize to around 480x640.

They'll be really spicy. Need to sit for a few weeks to get happy.

Imageur and copy paste to img brackets

boondox, if you go to "images", click on the pic you want to post. When it comes up look to the lower right, "Sizes", click on "Huge Thumbnail". After that click on copy on the "BBCode" area. The pic will post nice.

If you use "Album" each picture in the album you selected will have a arrow pointing down next to "copy". When thing drop down you can click on "edit image" and the resize thing shows up in the top right of the pic. Click on the left number, change it to 580 and then click on the number on the left, it will automatically change, this size seems to work well. click on 'Save" and then back to that down arrow and click on "share the image". Click on copy on the BBCode area and post the pic.

Hope this makes sense and helps. This is what I do and it seems to works for me...

P.S. don't use the "img" brackets here, just paste, it comes up with the "img" brackets from imgur

Note: this pic was resized to 580 x 435
