Put 85 canning jars on Craigslist this morning plus lids and bands. $85.

I freeze everything but salsa now.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

A very nice lady came and picked up the jars yesterday. More room in the basement.👍👍

That’s good Bob..  Someone can always use them.   And the prices are ridiculous now..
I’m sure I have enough.
All depends on how much I give away. ;D

Nice Dom.
Mowed greens this morning. Made a huge pot of chicken stock the past couple days. A real chore while I’m getting over some flu. But it kept me moving in a good way. A dozen containers of stock in the freezer and a pot of chicken soup on the stove for supper.

Prepping for mowing in the rain tomorrow. Hot soup will hit the spot at the end of that day.

Also bought a super heavy duty rain suit. If I don’t stay dry after that purchase, I give up. I hate getting wet working.

Well, a lot of my tomatoes split with the recent rains. So I thought…what to do?

So, I gathered them all up and blanched them to remove the skins.

There’s three or four varieties there.

Best option was Stewed Tomatoes.

We love stewed tomatoes. 4 containers plus one for dinner tomorrow.

Works for us!

We picked all the sweet peppers but there’s still a bunch of hot ones left.
Tomatoes are just silly this year. We and canned and frozen enough for 2 years..   Still getting cucumbers and nice small zucchini’s . Mindy made chocolate chip, zucchini cookies the other night.   I should weigh 300 pounds.  But still 190.  😎
