No, I got one several years ago and I’m good. I can say I got one… ;)

I'm in the mushroom & squirrel mode right now. Made three good finds of chickens this week and am hoping for the hens to show soon. A little rain coming might wake them up and if there's time, I'll be tending to some tree stands. I've killed two bears and although I'll take another if given the chance, I probably won't put in an effort due to the travel required. We just don't have any in my locale.

Got in at daybreak this morning and was all set up hoping my wife would get a shot it was her first big game hunt as she just got her license at 730 another hunter came walking by I whistled to him he pointed past us and kept walking by right in front of us we relocated for a while but couldn't do much walking due to wife dealing with a bad ankle right now it was really awesome having her in the woods with me actually hunting

I dont hunt but let a buddy throw a feeder (in CT where it's legal) and a treestand on my property.  So far havent seen any decent deer come by.  Just black bears and turkeys.  Good luck this season fellas.

Woke up yesterday to the feeder not being visable....walk up to it and there was a black bear butt and hind legs sticking out.   Cracked corn...man they will eat anything.

I was blessed to shoot an elk on the second day of the CO muzzleloader season. I hit her at sunset and decided to back out and track her in the morning. She didn’t go far.

It took me all day to quarter her, debone the meat, and pack it down to a creek to hang and cool.

They picked up the meat the next day.

After that it rained for about 48 hours! The clouds were socked in.

After the rain I was able to chase some grouse.

Some good eats.

Some random pics.

One I shot on the way in to the base camp.

Getting ready to head out.
