What big kid doesn’t?

Kids still like spin tops. That’s pretty cool!

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Too hot to do anything outside. Nice in the “Little Wood Shop”.
Been making tops for the market.

Those look great RG. Past 2 days have been brutal at work. Been knocking off early to try to recoup from the heat.

I hear that! There’s a big sewer project going on in our neighborhood. The guys knocked off at 4:00 today. They’ve been working 6-6 the past two weeks..

No wood shop did it out in the yard.  Put new boards on my old steel frame fire pit table…. Just getting ready to seal it….

Looks good ……for a gardener ;D

Gonna be a really hot one this afternoon. I’ll be in the shop where it’s nice and cool. Don’t know what I’m making yet, but I’ll conjure up something.

Very nice Dom. Should last for many years. I’d sure like to share a campfire with you sometime.

I ended up making another half dozen tops for the market.

Gotta make my final wedding ring for the upcoming 50th anniversary. Only 5 days off now. It’s my focus for tomorrow. My Bride has chosen Birdseye maple for the final ring. She nixed the idea of gold inlays. “Too extravagant” she said. We don’t need that to be re-married.

How on earth did I find such a sensible woman…..and manage to have her put up with me for more than 50 years.

We’ve been married 50 but together for 53. I’m still amazed and love her beyond words.

Me and my bride had one last night and listened to thousands of fireworks echoing across the valley.
Pretty cool.
