The Little Wood Shop 2019

Went out scouting for materials today. Harvested some ash from the course and some really nice spalted  maple pieces from the park down the road.

What a nice day to be out wandering the woods.

Been turning my Bride a present per day for the past week. More bird house ornaments for the tree and a few new ideas.

I’ll have to take a few pics of the stuff. It’s been fun and she loves it…..as do I. I plan on keeping it up till Christmas.

Rudy started out as a reindeer but he looked more like a dog.

I made the two little box houses the past 2 days. A bit of a departure from turning.
She has 26 little bird house ornaments on the tree. They’re really fun to make and I definitely have the process down pat.

I love this time of year. I’ve gifted several people I know with others. Always makes them and me smile. Nice to be remembered on someone’s Christmas tree.
