Walmart with the office supplies. Took about 20 minutes to make. ( in my shop)
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Been playing with the little block dolls. Was trying to figure out how to make one look like a girl.

My Bride approved. Gotta add some kids to the family next. I’ve got a big tote of 2x4 cutoffs my neighbor gave me to play with.

Puzzle trucks are really fun to make.

Have a 3/16” blade for my band saw arriving today so I can make tighter cuts and more intricate puzzles.

Always good brain work to learn something new. I think the kids, grandparents, Moms and dads will like them.

They’re nice painted but it takes so much time to do I have to get a pretty good buck for them. I laid out 5 more that I’m going to leave natural with butcher block conditioner on them.

I’ve got a dozen of the block dolls in process. Lots of sanding to do. Sure happy I made the sanding discs and platform for the lathe. 0 dust in the air. I do have to rotate the dust collector filter a bit more often though.

Hadn’t given any thought to making the note paper holders but, I am now. Thanks for the suggestion. It’s a long time till April when I go back to the golf course. I’ve been searching around for more ideas. I’ve got quite a stack of free material to use up thanks to my neighbor.

I’ll be there most every Tuesday. Bought a new enclosure for next year. Has 4 walls and a door and is waterproof. Should help considerably. Plan on doing some other shows as well.

Spent the shop time sanding and drilling today. Seems I find every project that takes 10,000 little pieces to make.
4 1/2 hrs of sanding and drilling.

Good thing I have music to listen to.

Think I’m going back to turning when I get these pieces done.

Nice Bob.
Looks like you have been busy.
I need to get down into the basement and work on some rods.
I have 2 spinning rods and that fly rod to do this winter.
However, this covid garbage has me whipped pretty good.
I simply have no energy.
Yesterday'd snowblowing darn near wiped me out.
Maybe next week.
We'll see.
