We fished today. Left fish to find bigger fish. Came back to first spot after only catching 2 others. Ended up with 13 or 14 walleyes. Nothing over 15 1/4 inches. All came off a small shelf between 35 fow and 31 fow. Bite was light and they wanted the jig on the fall. Water temp 78*...h2l

HOT, no wind. Fish were in the same area as last trip. Caught 8 walleyes and lost 5 or 6 on the way up. 34 to 31 fow, very light bite again. 3 keepers, one just over 17"...Good seeing you guys again....h2l

Nice to see you again, we didn't do as good as you and lindsay, we caught two shorts and lost a couple on way up. Water temp went down a few degrees with all the rain we had. Keep up the good work, more rain is coming.

Hi all, Is there good good spring crappie fishing, and if so where should I look?   Hope you all are enjoying the rain.

I've never fished for crappie on sacandaga, always do well on Saratoga lake for them in spring.

Been a while since I posted. Back from vacation far from here. Has the level fallen off?? Have this and Labor Day weekend off and don't want to screw the pooch. Thanks for any help. BTW, when we went to our camp in Brooks Bay area before the 13th the water was May level.......

Kim, well the lake is still at May levels. 70+ years and I don't think I have ever seen it as high in August. Fishing has been fair to good, when you find them. Guys fishing for bass are doing well. Good luck...h2l
