Grilled chicken thighs and a hearts of lettuce salad with malt vinegar vinaigrette for me. My Bride wanted some Minestrone we had frozen.

For me a good, light meal. Down 11 lbs s far. About 10 more to go and I'm at fighting weight.

Rg

I gained 2 lbs this past week Bob.
I'm down 52 total so far however.

We had Charlie the Butcher tonight.
Donna had a roast beast and I had a combo (beast and turkey).
CJ had a hot dog.
Had fries too.
The fries aren't on the diet but neither are the sandwich rolls.

Found a killer deal on steaks at Tops in Pulaski, 9.99 pp for some gorgeous Porterhouse steaks  8) so coals are in the chimney and the Weber will get some use with a nice harvest of Asperagus. Pics to follow....

Didn't get a pic of the plate up... didn't last long lol. Quick sear over the coals, then indirect heat for 10 mins. Absolute perfection  8)

I was lucky enough to have my bride snap a pic, and we were about on the same wave length buddy!

Looks delicious Ed! Makes me think...I've got a couple nice ribeyes in the freezer and asparagus waiting to be cut👍
Love a good porterhouse but, it takes me 3 days to eat one. Ribeyes are nice. I can have half for dinner and the other half over a salad the next day. My Bride will have a burger. Not a steak fan.

That's fantastic Mac. It'll add many good years to your life. I gained about 15 over the last winter but even that was not that bad. A bit too much comfort food. I'm still down 35 from where I was 4 years ago. I bottom out at about 190-195. Even when I worked at the tennis club and played 7 days a week in addition to working out, I never got below 190.

Anyway, my Doc is happy. I take no meds ( other than the occasional ibuprofen) and all OEM parts are still operating normally...albeit somewhat slower.

Good food=a healthy life.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
