Was getting my carp baits out of the freezer this morning and ran into a few bags of chicken parts I’ve been saving for stock. Needless to say, home made chicken noodle soup for dinner..

Surf and turf…my way

Planned a couple of pieces of blackstrap for tomorrow, but thought what the heck. Breaded a few slices and dropped them in the fryer. My Bride even ate some crappie. Maybe there’s hope for her after 50 years.

Her first question was “do they have bones”. I told her all fish have bones. Probably something her mother told her like “you’re gonna choke to death if you swallow a fish bone”. That would have been just like her.

Making crock pots of stuffed peppers today , Italian sausage, bacon ( cause everything is better with it) saffron rice onions and garlic top with cheese later smells good so far
