Well, my good friend and neighbor( and his parrot) stopped by to drop, off a recipe book for smoked sausage and such. One thing lead to another and we ate the scampi.

It was a hit all around….even my Bride.

Talk bout a win!

Never got the pics though. We were involved.
I had a feeling I was going to see a post that you made perch scampi. 😁 I told Julie last night that you mentioned it. She said that sounds good. I think we have one package of perch left.🙂

Ahhh, biscotti. We used to live near an excellent Italian bakery. Was one of our favorites….and cannolis.

Left over lasagna from the deep freeze tonight.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Been prepping for our family Christmas party tomorrow. We do one the week before so my kids can have their (other) family's over.

I’ve got a pretty good menu planned.
Clams casino
Nachos, salsa and cheese
Charcuterie board with
Prosciutto wrapped mozzarella
Calabrese salami
Pepperoni
3 different cheeses and a cracker assortment

Pull apart cheesy Christmas tree (mozzarella wrapped in pizza dough, baked and topped with Parm…in the shape of a Christmas tree)
Veggie tray with dip
Smoked sausages wrapped in philo dough and baked with spicy bbq sauce

And a couple pounds of wild caught extra large shrimp

If anyone goes away hungry…..it’s their fault.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

And…I made a loaf of bread

Fun in the kitchen. Only problem is, I have no idea what we’re having for dinner tonight.

Marathon cook today. Started prepping yesterday. Picked back up at 4:00am. Finished cooking at around 3:00. Most   disappeared.  Cheese and cured meats left over.

I was very pleased to see the veggie tray consumed. Good for my family.

Anyway, we all ate well and had a great time.

No time for pics.

I never mind having cured meat and cheese left over to nibble on. Glad your party was a success!
